The Methow Valley Citizens Council has been advocating for sensible, sustainable growth in the Methow Valley for forty years and it has paid off - helping to preserve this pristine valley and its environment for all inhabitants, now and for generations to come. Julia Hurd spoke with Maggie Coon and Brian de Place, Founder / Chair of the Board and Director, about the MVCC's role, history and accomplishments in shaping this special place.

I think I may have met Maggie when I was on the Speaker's Bureau of Seattle office of The Nature Conservancy office and spoke for them in Skagit and Whatcom county.
