You were up which creek? I think I've heard that creek by another name.It actually looks idyllic.
Thunder Creek, from Thunder Arm, south off Diablo Lake at beginning of North Cascades. Very sweet. A couple of pack in campsites at 2 and 2.8 miles along creek.
