Sun

A sunny, hot day at last!  And what do I do?  Weed the flowerbed, clean the gutters and hose them out, mow the lawn . . . then get a bit of painting in.  85% done with my second painting of the year:  "Family (The String Theory of)."  Oh, and doesn't my studio just look fabulous

Things To Do on a Rainy Saturday

1. Watch Eliot and Eason try out their new lawn tractor at their new house in Bayview.
2. Visit Lori at her booth at the Skagit Fairgrounds selling her horse shoe
creations.
(And Eason says, "Just happy to be here. Seriously, folks.")

Cold spring rain dusk.

No progress.

Sky is gray.
Earth is gray.

Beard is gray.

Even green is gray.

I am waiting only
for my dinner.

Lori Writes: Mom's Amaryllis

Attached is a picture of the amaryllis Jerry and Sally gave mom for what
turned out to be her last Christmas.
I kept it but it has never bloomed. Well it is a little out of season
and a few years late but it finally bloomed this week!
It is really pretty very dark red, much darker than the picture and it
has a very velvet look to the petals.
Maybe it will bloom on time next year! Sure glad I kept it, just thought
I would pass it on.

Charles Writes from Arizona Holiday

I am so happy to be in the West again. The suppression of consciousness
in the Midwest is starting to alarm me.

Lynne: The Wheel of Our Life Turning

Lynne's Assemblage.
Created this after being inspired by a video by Loran Hill on the wheel of life, honoring the seasons, the directions and the 4 members of our nuclear family, and the energy moving thru it all.

(Ed:VERY nice!)

Shiah Takes a Break

Shiah Lints, family friend, comes West of the mountains to help Eliot
put in his 1200 sq. ft. of raw white oak flooring. He takes a break for
a couple of hours to launch himself from Blanchard Mountain.  Eason watches.
