Lori Brings us a: Hotwire update

Good thing you guys are waiting for another race to go to. It was nice at the Everson competition, but cold wind and really nowhere to watch that was really worth it and it would have made me nervous for little Eason's safety. The owner is going to try to get more set up by next winter and the arena is super nice.

Hotwire did awesome! He won all 3 classes even against open and pro horses! Made just over $xxx.

Lori writes: Update on Hotwire

Quick update, Hotwire went to his first really big show this weekend and did great! He has a video on youtube from it. Look up Hotwire Ridgefield BTM 3-9-13 They had right at 140 riders and he got 5th on saturday and was 5th overall for the weekend. This was consdidered an open race so he ran against all ages of horses and still outran most of them! His big races for his age start in 3 weeks so I am frantically looking for a saddle for him and me. The one that fit me made him very sore so I am fighting trying to keep him feeling good so he can perform and the saddle that fits him kills my back. So trying to figure it out before the real big races!

You tell me what's going on?   There's a robin that attacks my new truck and poops all over it.  You can see the outlines of wings on the glass where it beats out its frenzy.  I guess the mirror disturbs it . . .?

SUMMER!

I am napping in the afternoon when I hear, from down in the yard, Eason yelling "HOO-RAY!  It's summer!"  I jump out of bed and rush downstairs.  The sun is shining and Eason is running through the yard in short sleeves and bare feet.  WHOO-PEE!
