A handful of Skagit County residents concerned about oil train traffic organized
a series of events this week as part of a larger campaign called Stop Oil Trains Week of Action. BNSF Railway lines that carry crude oil from North Dakota's Bakken region run north to south through the county, and west from Mount Vernon and Burlington to Anacortes.
